A country which has over 90 crore voter base – each one with the right to make a choice and a difference in the country.
As it is co-related we all know that the success of the elections depend on people voting. To make General Elections a success and to spread awareness, Google is helping the country with its Google Doodle that lists out the process of how to vote ?
General Elections 2019 or Lok Sabha elections 2019 begin from today, April 11 and would be conducted over 7 phases throughout the country in various states. In 2014, 814.5 million people were eligible to caste their vote. Of the total, however, only 66.40% or 540.82 million people turned out to vote.
People and Social influencers are asking people to turn out in large numbers of votes to make this event more successful.
Here is a step by step process on how to vote?
First step is to locate your polling station. Dont’ forget that commonly polling would commence from 7:00 am and the polling booths would remain open till 6:00 pm. In rare cases there is some different time for different places. Voters can go and cast their vote at the designated polling booths.
Dont’ forget to carry an identification card. In case you don’t have a voter ID, you can also vote by showing your Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, etc.
