In the fourth match of the IPL, Punjab defeated Rajasthan by 14 runs on Monday. In this match Chris Gayle completed the fastest four thousand runs in the Indian Premier legue.
Jos Butler also batted brilliantly from Rajasthan, but he became a victim of the run-out. Captain Ravichandran Ashwin, Punjab team captain, got his wicket but now it has become a controversy.
What is ‘Mankading’ runout?
When a bowler strikes the batsman standing on non-strikers before throwing a ball, it is called the mankading runout. Actually, when the bowler feels that the non-striker batsman has left the crease before throwing his ball, then bowler can put the bells down to get the batsman out. Since the ball has not been bowled, it doesn’t count in a record, but the batsman is definitely out.
Some people are saying that Ashwin’s mankading runout is right on the social media, while some people are telling it against the game spirit.
