Viral Video: Gujarat Cop carrying Children on shoulders, braves flood waters

Flood situation has been prevailing in Gujarat, especially in South Gujarat and Saurashtra, for the last few days. Due to floods where hundreds of people are trapped in the flood waters, the relief and rescue workers are leaving no stone unturned and putting their lives at stake for these people to reach at safest place.

Amid video of devastation across Gujarat and other parts due to rains and floods, a video is going viral of a police official carrying two children on his shoulder for 1.5 kms in flood waters. Although the video of a Gujarat Police cop is becoming rage on social media sites in last 24 hours, it has once again hit the positive image prevalent in the public’s mind and exposed the human face of the police.

On social media, a video of Gujarat Police Force Police Constable (PC) Prithvi Singh Jadeja has been trending for the last 24 hours. Actually this video is from Tankara town of Morbi district in Gujarat. During the twenty-four hours of heavy rainfall in Tankara, many areas were transformed into islands. In this video, Prithvi Singh Jadeja is seen carrying two children on his shoulders for over 1.5 km in flood waters in Kalyanpar village of Morbi district.

However, this heroic gesture of Prithviraj has made him a more popular on social media and netizens are praising him a lot. Police constable Prithvi Singh Jadeja is being showered with flowers from Chahoonar. Every common man is saluting this brave Gujarat Police by calling him Hanuman Gujarat’s Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Gujarat Police and Gujarat’s Additional Director General of Police Shamsher Singh shared the bravery of his brave work by sharing a video of Prithvi Singh on their respective Twitter handle.
